Welcome to the new look of Masters of Cinema. First of all, I am sorry for not being able to update the website for almost two months now. I was extremely occupied with my script and few other personal tasks that had to be finished. Since, I am done writing my script and getting things back in order a bit, I will invest a bit of my time to publish articles focusing mainly on the works of the directors like Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, M.Night Shyamalan, Alfred Hitchcock and more. Our goal from now on is to discuss the artistic work and style of each autuer.
If you are someone, who loves to discuss the work of a favorite film-maker of yours, you are welcome to write for Masters of Cinema. You can simply email me at [email protected] and then I will explain to you the simple procedure. But, one thing that I want to point out here is that we are going to be covering the works of film-makers both from the past and present. Meaning that these unforgettable names are the example; Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and from today’s film-makers, we are going to discuss Shyamalan, Nolan, Scott, Spike Lee, Ang Lee and more. You don’t have to choose one of these names, what I am trying to explain here is that you can write about film-makers whose work is artistic and inspiring. We are not going to cover Tyler Perry, Kevin Smith, Uwe Boll like film-makers. I am sorry if this phrase sounds too harsh, but it is what it is, I am an aspiring screenwriter and I look up to film-makers I mentioned above in this message. This is going to be fun, I am looking forward to see some insight and opinion from different writers.
