Comment on Critiquing the Critics of Christopher Nolan by vitya http://www.mastersofcinema.net/2012/08/critiquing-the-critics-of-christopher-nolan/#comment-1343 Sat, 19 Apr 2014 05:04:25 +0000 http://www.mastersofcinema.net/?p=759#comment-1343 nolan is just teaching how to perceive the dreamworld. (inception)it’s obviuosly the audience and some critics tend to accept  casual ideas . but nolan’s conception in filmmaking absorbed in unconventional art  and that’s    vitally important. ,,shaking up”  as he stated in his interview is his task. yea Nolan is in the realm of Spielberg and Hitchcock.indeed,he can be consirdred one of the great  directors of century and for the next era.

To think it was only a decade ago when people were claiming that about M Night Shyamalan!
Get back to me when Nolan manages to make a film that’s less arrogantly insistent of its own importance, has more humour — in short, is more human — and is less reliant on cribbing from Michael Mann.

Mentioning such titles are already good enough excuses to get up and buy a ticket to see Greengrass’ Captain Phillips. […]

Comment on Review: Zero Dark Thirty by Rohan Mohmand http://www.mastersofcinema.net/2013/01/review-zero-dark-thirty/#comment-845 Tue, 08 Jan 2013 04:41:00 +0000 http://www.mastersofcinema.net/?p=883#comment-845 Indeed. The Hurt Locker was much emotional, Travlis. The very gravity of this film’s subject to us all and every single person, who lost their loved ones due to Bin Laden’s evil deeds, I am sure at the end when he was killed, all those families, not only in the U.S., but around the world, had some relief from emotion and sadness due to losing someone dear. I am looking forward to the Oscar night. This will be tough to beat.
